Managing Partner
Alok is the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Tierra Adentro Growth Capital. He oversees the firm's first infrastructure fund. He has over two decades of experience in private equity and infrastructure investing.
Alok was previously a Partner and Head of Infrastructure for Fifth Wall Ventures, where he served on its Investment and Executive Committees. He was also previously a Partner at D. E. Shaw’s U.S. Growth & Private Equity team, where he helped incubate the DESRI platform, one of the largest IPPs in the US with over 8 GW of energy infrastructure assets. Earlier in his career, Alok was a VP of Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan, where he executed over $15b in transactions across the energy sector.
Alok is currently an advisor at the Doerr School of Sustainability at Stanford and was previously a Special Government Employee with the Department of Defense. Alok holds a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from The Wharton School.

Adam is a Vice President at Tierra Adentro, where he leads the firm's Advanced Energy investment strategy and supports deal execution across the broader portfolio.
Prior to TAGC, Adam was an investor for TDK Ventures, where he developed investment theses across Advanced Energy sectors including geothermal power, hydrogen, and critical minerals. He invested in and held board positions for companies spanning lithium extraction, geothermal power, green hydrogen, manufacturing metrology, and ESS. Earlier in his career, Adam co-founded the Manufacturing practice at ZS Associates and worked under the Executive Committee at D. E. Shaw, where he connected with Alok Sindher and Jon Bronson.
Adam holds a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from Case Western and co-authored two publications in high-performance polymers. He began his career as a manufacturing engineer at Procter & Gamble, GE, HP and L'Oreal. Outside of work, Adam enjoys music, mountaineering, and cheering on his Ohio sports teams.
Alex is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of J2 Ventures. He invests in early-stage, dual-use technologies, with a focus on critical minerals, cybersecurity, space tech, telecom, and infrastructure. He previously invested in national security-related investments under the U.S. Air Force (AFWERX). Earlier in his career, Alex helped launch the payers fund at Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. He has also held roles with KKR and Booz & Company. Alex advises TAGC on capital and fund strategy.
A common thread for Alex has been finding a symbiotic relationship between service and work. He is a former Army Intelligence Officer and a veteran of special operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Alex holds a B.A. from Columbia and an MBA from Harvard. Alex was formerly an EMT (where he served alongside Jon Bronson), Certified Rescue Diver, and Ski Patroller.
Jon is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of J2 Ventures. He invests in early-stage companies pioneering technologies in advanced computing, biomedical engineering, cybersecurity, and infrastructure. He was previously a Director at DESRI, where he collaborated with Alok Sindher and deployed equity and debt for utility-scale power projects. Jon advises TAGC on capital and fund strategy.
Earlier in his career, Jon was the COO of Backpack Health and a Project Leader at BCG. Jon is a scientist by training, having spent years researching the intersection of biochemistry and AI. He received his Ph.D. from Columbia (NSF Fellow) and his B.A. from Penn (Goldwater Scholar); his publications and open-source software have received nearly 1,000 citations. Jon was formerly an EMT (where he served alongside Alex Harstrick).
